* About the Role:
*
* As a CBRE Senior Workplace Experience Manager, you will supervise employees and third parties that support several experience services.
Examples of services include Concierge, Reception, Meeting & Event Management, Facilities Management and administrative office duties.
This job is part of the Workplace Experience function. Theyare responsible for providing world-class customer service to the clients and visitors of a designated building.
** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
+ Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Setand track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. Lead teamimpact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
+ Build and maintain a trusted client relationship. Negotiate with clients, partners, and associates to resolveconflicting priorities.
+ Ensure support provided by the team is efficient and consistent. Oversee and execute process improvement efforts on a regular basis. Develop strategic solutions.
+ Execute technological and training needs for Workplace Experience teams and clients. Always follow safety standards with employees, clients, and vendors.
+ Provide exemplary meeting and events leadership across a spectrum of size, complexity including VIPs and high profileactivities.
+ Maintain vendor partnerships with the intentionof cost-saving efforts. Approve negotiations for contract services. Managebudgets, cost reductions, and achieve cost savings.
+ Oversee Work Order management and delivery byleveraging the assigned CMMS, leveraging available resources to ensure consistent service delivery and quality to meets or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
+ Deliver the Service Business Continuity planevery six months and conduct required testing.
+ Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different pointof view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
+ Identify and solve technical and operationalproblems of complexity.
+ Understand and recognize the broader impactacross the department.
+ Improve and change existing methods, processes,and standards within job discipline.
** What You'll Need:*
* + HS Diploma or GED required.
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection,training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
+ Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive,complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations andhandle problems.
+ Leadership skills to motivate the team to achievebroad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and otherproductive products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, Slack, Air Table,Smart Sheets etc.
+ Extensive organizational skills and an advancedinquisitive mindset.
** What you'll need*
* + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of four years of related experience and/or trade school training.
+ Universal CFC certification preferred.
+ Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
