Lightstone DIRECT is Lightstone's new investing platform for accredited investors. Through this innovative platform, accredited individuals can partner with a $12B AUM owner/operator, and add more powerful, more aligned private CRE investing to their portfolios. Lightstone DIRECT is a growing team within the company, effective a startup within a well-capitalized, four-decades-old real estate firm.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Lightstone DIRECT is seeking to hire one summer intern within its Marketing team. The Marketing team is responsible for the Lightstone DIRECT brand, customer acquisition, performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, and investor communications. This is an exciting opportunity to wear a number of hats within marketing, and within the extremely challenging and stimulating vertical of investing and financial services.

This is a full-time, non-exempt role scheduled to run from approximately June 15th to August 14th.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Support data analysis efforts related to ad campaign performance, user behavior, and other quantitative marketing exercises.
• Support our lifecycle marketing functions - copy editing, proofing, segmentation, implementing tests, and much more.
• Owning our partnership marketing via Impact radius.
• Supporting ad campaign functions, iteration, testing, creative design, and general optimization.

COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE:

• Prior experience in social media marketing, SEO, marketing analytics, martech, creative design, web design a plus
• Academic work in marketing, creative writing, economics, or other related fields a plus
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, and other creative tools a plus
• Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Business, and other ad platform technology a plus.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including modeling and financial analysis skills
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with an expertise in Excel
• Capacity to work effectively in an environment where one needs to take initiative and anticipate requests
• Superior verbal, written communications and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to identify errors/opportunities and effectively problem solve
• Capable of managing competing priorities while meeting deadlines with dependability
• Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with a team
