Fan Duel is looking for a strategic powerhouse to own and evolve Fan Duel's retention engine - balancing data, creativity, and commercial acumen to fuel market share growth and customer retention. In this role, you'll set the strategy for how we drive engagement from in-category customers, evolve our lifecycle and offer strategy, and create a culture of continuous optimization. You'll be the go-to leader connecting the dots across Marketing, Go To Market, and Performance & Insights - ensuring our customer marketing strategy is both smart and scalable.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

  • Set end-to-end customer marketing strategic direction, responsible for achieving customer retention targets while balancing efficiency, scale, and market share across all regions
  • Lead high performing marketing teams while nurturing the next generation of Fan Duel leadership and attracting talent
  • Expand, challenge, and transform our lifecycle and promotions strategies, leveraging deep customer data, research, and competitive intelligence to win the battle for choice
  • Deliver insights, reporting and recommendations on program improvements to senior and executive leadership
  • Manage a significant marketing budget while improving retention and customer value outcomes
  • Deliver strategic marketing guidance to cross-functional teams to deliver exciting and effective seasonal Go-To-Market plans
  • Partner closely with Mar Tech, Comms and Ops teams to develop marketing automation, operational efficiency and communications excellence
  • Collaborate closely with Business Intelligence to address performance gaps and opportunities, champion experimentation and cultivate an environment of collaboration
  • Act as the business leader and central point of contact for all things retention, driving alignment, clarity, and performance across Trading, Creative, Media, Marketing, Business Intelligence, and Finance stakeholders
  • Evolve audience strategy through new segmentation discovery and white space opportunities
  • Deliver continuous improvements to the full conversion funnel working closely with product and content teams
