Company Description
Our client is a startup whiskey brand positioned on a deliberate controversial and politically incorrect branding. Leveraging a very strong social media presence (especially on X.com) through a network of sister companies, the brand aims to promote and sell its products, initially through an online platform, with a focus on launching their unique offerings. The company is operating entirely remote.
Objective of the Role
The Social Media Marketing Manager will lead social media initiatives across various platforms to drive brand growth and audience engagement. The main goals include ensuring a successful business launch, measuring revenue growth, and developing viral campaigns based on data insights.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate will have a background in the Alcohol and Beverage industry, along with experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, Entertainment, Startups, and direct-to-consumer brands. A minimum of five years in social media marketing, preferably in a leadership role, is required. Knowledge of relevant platforms and tools is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Lead social media marketing efforts across all platforms.
- Drive brand growth and audience engagement through innovative strategies.
- Measure and analyze KPIs to optimize social media performance.
- Develop and launch viral marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with interim CMO and other team members to align marketing efforts.
- 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably as a Social Media Marketing Manager.
- Familiarity with tools such as Meta Business Suite, Tik Tok Creator Tools, Google Analytics, and Hootsuite.
- Strong understanding of U.S. consumer behavior and trend forecasting.
- Proven ability in content creation and analytics.
- Experience in alcohol and beverage marketing is a significant advantage.
