- Shape and advance a multi-year, national policy strategy aimed at improving economic security, working in close partnership with philanthropic leaders, advocacy organizations, and research institutions.
- Build, steward, and grow a nationwide coalition of community funders and policy-focused working groups, aligning diverse stakeholders around shared priorities and outcomes.
- Translate evidence-based research into practical policy frameworks, playbooks, and tools that support coordinated federal advocacy and aligned philanthropic investment.
- Lead the development and ongoing refinement of a national economic security measurement framework in collaboration with academic and research partners.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with federal policymakers, national advocacy groups, and sector leaders to advance shared policy objectives.
- Expand and diversify coalition membership across regions, with a focus on engaging community-based funders and intermediaries at scale.
- Serve as a visible representative of the initiative, contributing thought leadership through convenings, briefings, public forums, and virtual programming.
- Support the planning and execution of national convenings, regional gatherings, and year-round engagement opportunities that strengthen collaboration and alignment across the network.
- 5-10+ years of progressive experience within philanthropy, foundations, policy organizations, or mission-driven intermediaries.
- Demonstrated experience building or leading funder collaboratives, coalitions, or cross-sector partnerships at the local, state, or national level.
- Direct exposure to public policy and advocacy efforts, including federal policy development and stakeholder engagement.
This impactful position offers a competitive salary range of $155,000-$170,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with match, unlimited PTO, summer Fridays, and 13 company holidays, paid parental leave, & more!
