We are seeking a Registered Nurse for their recovery and wellness center. This program offers flexible scheduling!
Shift: Monday through Friday 3pm to 11pm

Compensation:
Salary Range: $50.00-$53.00 Per HR
Job Purpose:
- Perform skilled nursing duties and medication administration oversight at residential addiction treatment facility.
- Effectively interact with clients, significant others, and other treatment team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Scope of Influence:
- Oversight of all medical procedures and medications in residential addiction treatment facility
- Supervision of LPN staff
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Assess medical status of new and existing clients, refer for outside medical care when appropriate
- Perform on-going assessments
- Implement physician orders in a timely manner and maintain high standards of client care
- Initiate and implement client care plans, interact with medical health care providers, oversee medical appointments, referral and follow-up appointments
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for adverse effects
- Dispose of all discontinued medication in compliance with regulations
- Participate in the orientation of clients to the program and facility
- Maintain the standards of accurate and complete recording and reporting of client's files
- Supervise LPN staff
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Involvement in facility performance assessment and improvement planning
Job Requirements / Required Knowledge:
- NYS Registered Nurse Licensed
- 1-2 years of Experience working with substance abuse and dual diagnosis populations
- Excellent computer skills, willingness and ability to learn new software required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Team-player, able to multi-task and handle challenging situations
