Schedule:

7am-7:30pm, EOW Hourly pay: $53/hour on W2 (negotiable)

Provide safe, competent, high-quality psychiatric nursing care to assigned patients. Deliver care using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and Relationship-Centered Care principles.

• Promote Relationship-Centered Care throughout the patient experience.

• HELP (High-Risk Medications, Equipment, Lines/Drains/Airway, Pain, Plan of Care)
• AM/PM Care
• 5-Minute Sit Down
• Purposeful Hourly Rounding
• Medication Review
• Discharge Wrap-Up
• MD/RN Unit Collaboration
• Respect patients' values, preferences, culture, and individual needs.
• Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Use evidence-based practices to improve patient satisfaction.
• Perform service recovery and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Demonstrate compassion, empathy, respect, and active listening.
• Conduct Purposeful Hourly Rounding addressing the 4 Ps.

• 2–3 years of Medical Assistant or medical office experience.
• Experience supporting office operations, scheduling, documentation, and record management.

• Active New York State RN License.
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience.
• EPIC experience.

• Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing preferred. Associate degree in nursing is considered only with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN Program
• CPI or PMCS Certification required.
