RN Charge Nurse

Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse

Charge Nurse needed for Nursing and Rehab Facility. All shifts available- 8 or 12 hours shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the individualized resident care by promoting and monitoring residents' health through the nursing process.
• Utilizes clinical resources in implementing patient care and provides rationale for patient care decisions.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve all residents' problems and needs.
• Providing physical and psychological support to patients and their family members.
• Monitoring residents' conditions and administering medication & treatments.
• Supervising assigned team members.
• Completes frequent observations and the Intake/Outtake record according to established protocols.
• Performs related duties, as required.

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NY.
• Past experience working in a Long Term Care Nursing Facility.
• Knowledge of EMR systems.
• BCLS, ACLS or PALS, required.
• Excellent communication skills.
