Licensed Practical Nurse (Skilled Care) / Per-Diem - Queens, NY (#25343)
Location: Queens, NY
Employment Type: Per-Diem
Hourly Rate: $47.00/hr
Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to fill openings with a skilled care facility located in Queens, New York. This per-diem position in long-term care is ideal for a dedicated LPN with nursing home or hospital experience who is passionate about providing quality care to residents in a skilled care setting.

Qualifications:
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- Licensure: Must have an active New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. LPN Registration required.
- Experience: Must have at least two (2) years of experience in a nursing home or hospital setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in medication administration, wound care, vital signs monitoring, and documentation using electronic or paper systems.
- Required Documentation:
- Driver's License or Passport or Green Card and SSN Card
- COVID Vaccination Card
- MMRV Results (Mumps, Measles, Rubella, and Varicella)
- Physical Assessment
- CPR Certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and health status.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and therapists to implement care plans.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and facility protocols.
- Respond to emergencies and provide timely interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
