Requirements

• BSN required
• Active NYS RN License
• BLS & ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Med/Surg experience required
• Ventilator experience preferred
• Epic experience highly preferred
• 1 year travel experience required for travelers

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Telemetry RN to provide safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive Telemetry and Med/Surg nursing care
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
• Participate in patient throughput, care coordination, and performance improvement initiatives
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned
