Research Scientist
The Department of Radiology and the Division of Neuroradiology at Columbia University is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join our team. The research focus is on cerebrovascular disease and stroke imaging, in particular identifying imaging features associated with future stroke and/or the vascular contribution to dementia. Familiarity with neuroimaging is key as work involves extracting data from various neuroimaging studies.
Experience with image segmentation is ideal.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with the Data Science Institute, and Department of Neurology candidate is expected to be able to work well in a team and communicate results of their research orally and in writing.
Position requires:
* MD/DO or equivalent
* Some prior research experience, particularly in neuroimaging
