A lab within the Institute is seeking an Associate Research Scientist who will perform experiments aimed at determining the dynamics of presynaptic ATP synthesis in vivo following optogenetic induction of neuronal activity in conjunction with the detection of the presence of mitochondria at presynaptic boutons of callosal axons

The ideal candidate will have expertise in visually guided behavior and strong computational skills, as well as superior motivation, drive, and demonstrated aptitude for research.

Minimum Qualifications: MD, PhD, or doctorate in related field

Preferred: Strong candidates will be interested and focused on interdisciplinary work
