Associate Research Scientist

Job Summary

This role involves a deep dive into biological systems using computational techniques. The candidate will help design and implement algorithms to analyze complex biological data (like high-throughput sequencing data) and build predictive models to understand biological mechanisms at a systems level. The position requires a strong background in computational biology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research while collaborating effectively with other team members.
• Analyze high-throughput sequencing and other multiomic data using bioinformatics tools.
• Develop models to predict how genomic and epigenomic variations influence biological phenotypes.
• Author research papers and contribute to scientific publications.

Qualifications

• PhD in Genetics, Bioinformatics, Computer science, Data science, Statistical Genomics or a related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

2-5 years of research experience after completing a Ph.D. and demonstrated proficiency in the relevant scientific disciplines outlined above.
