THE ROLE
Our Assistant Store Director plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Director to ensure the efficient and successful operation of the store. You are responsible for creating a positive and productive work environment while maintaining a high level of customer service. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills which combined with strong leadership abilities can motivate and guide the Team.
An Assistant Store Director is someone who has passion for retail, a dedicated, motivated, and customer-oriented individual with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability who thrives in a fast-paced environment and promotes teamwork and open communication among staff.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Sales and Performance Management
- Assist in the execution of marketing initiatives and events to drive customer traffic and increase brand awareness.
- Manage a team of 4 to 6 client advisors, assigning daily budget, tasks and making sure they are completed properly and in a timely manner
- Provide regular updates to the Store Director on store performance, team members, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with the Store Director and corporate teams to share insights and contribute to the store's overall improvement.
- Perform in a consistent, timely and effective manner in accordance with established company and department specific policies and procedures.
- Lead by example and coach the store team to deliver outstanding service, ensuring that every customer feels valued and satisfied with their shopping experience.
- Resolve customers' issues ensuring a seamless in-store experience.
- Collaborate with the Store Director to set sales targets and goals for the store and actively participate in achieving them.
- Monitor team sales performance, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and take proactive measures to drive sales and maximize revenue.
- Actively involved in recruiting and hiring the best talents for the store.
- Utilize retail training material according to company and brand strategies.
- Ensure each team member takes part in chat-ins at the start of their shifts and before leaving for the day.
- Delegate according to individual's knowledge and skill set to effectively achieve results.
- Assist the Store Director in training and developing the store team, ensuring they have the necessary product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills to succeed.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions and provide feedback to team members to enhance their performance and professional growth.
- Help oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and managing store facilities.
- Work with the Store Director to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Support the Store Director in maintaining the store's visual merchandising standards, ensuring that displays are attractive, organized, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Participate in store layout changes and seasonal updates to create an engaging and inviting shopping environment.
- Assist in managing store inventory, including stock replenishment, stockroom organization, and conducting regular stock checks in partnership with the Store Director and the Operation Specialist.
- Collaborate with the Store Director to ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing stock discrepancies.
- Store Cleanliness: at our stores, we take great pride in providing our customers with a clean and well-maintained shopping environment. This includes the cleanliness and organization of the store: including but not limited to the salesfloor, fitting rooms, cash desk area, and backroom areas. As a retail employee, you are expected to take the initiative of upkeeping the cleanliness in the store.
- Eligibility to work in the US for any Employer
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of experience in customer service and luxury retail industry
- Excellent verbal, written communication and sales skills, with a strong customer service orientation
- Commitment, being self-motivated and goal oriented
