** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location serving residents and visitors.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disputes, disorderly conduct and/or unauthorized access.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, exits, stairwells and/or common areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.

+ Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and document entries, exits and incidents according to post orders.

+ Prepare complete and accurate written reports, maintain logs, and communicate observations and/or concerns to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision and local authorities when needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
