As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge processes, respond to calls for assistance, and provide clear, respectful communication to patients, visitors, and staff.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, assistance with patient and visitor concerns, and timely notification to appropriate personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of corridors, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and help manage visitor flow in accordance with site-specific policies.

+ Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have 2+ years of security-related experience.

+ Be 21+ years of age.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
