** Assistant Director of Security** , and facility safety - you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

** Support safety and security operations:
** Assist the Director in overseeing all safety and security functions, including ensuring OSHA compliance, promoting safe work practices, and managing department systems, budgets, and policies.

** Oversee safety training:
** Assist in leading the coordination and administration of safety training programs, including CPR, fire and life safety, workplace violence prevention, and driver training

+  
** Ensure property safety:
** Assist in directing security patrols of the hotel premises to identify and address safety risks, security threats, and undesirable conditions

+  
** Support investigations:
** Assist in leading inquiries into accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities

+  
** Direct emergency responses:
** Assist in leading responses to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, and security threats

+  
** Liaise with law enforcement:
** Act as a key contact for federal, state, and local authorities on security-related matters

** Inspire and develop the team:
** Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build a motivated and high-performing team
