** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide exceptional customer service to guests, patrons, artists, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a performing arts venue.

+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout public spaces, backstage areas, entrances, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials as directed; and assist with visitor screening, way finding, and crowd-flow support during performances and special events.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.

+ Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

* + At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
