** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility operations personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, contractor documentation, and delivery permissions in accordance with established site requirements.

+ Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.

+ Maintain accurate access-control logs, visitor records, incident reports, and other required documentation.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess a New York State Security Guard License.

+ Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
