** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government human services location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, entrances, exterior spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor management and directions.

+ Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
