** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.

+ Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, maintain visitor logs, and support access-control processes in accordance with location requirements.

+ Monitor entry activity, cameras, alarms, and/or other assigned systems; report unusual activity and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

+ Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while representing Allied Universal professionally at a commercial real estate location.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

+ Have alarm panel experience preferred.

+ Possess a Guard Card or license preferred.

+ Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
