Leonard Powers Inc. is looking for three skilled and motivated Field Services Mechanics to join our expanding Field Operations team. As a Field Services Mechanic, you'll be the face of Leonard Powers on job sites across New York City and surrounding areas, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial and government projects. Your day-to-day will include:

• Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial steam, plumbing, and domestic hot water systems

• Performing piping work using threading, grooving, pro-press, and sweating methods

• Applying plumbing knowledge to support system installations and service calls

• Reading and interpreting mechanical diagrams and project layouts with accuracy

• Documenting service calls and reporting through mobile devices and tablets

• Maintaining clean, safe, and organized job sites that reflect our professional standards

• Representing Leonard Powers with technical confidence and strong customer communication

• Participating in ongoing safety training and technical development programs

We're looking for candidates who combine solid mechanical and plumbing fundamentals with a team-first attitude and a willingness to keep growing. You should have:

• Minimum 3 years of field service or mechanical experience (preferred)

• Strong plumbing knowledge and hands-on familiarity with piping tools and materials — Required

• Ability to work effectively alongside peers, supervisors, and clients on active job sites

• Comfort using mobile technology for documentation and communication

• A proactive mindset and openness to learning new systems and methods

• OSHA 10 Certification — Required

• FDNY Fire Watch & Fire Guard Certification — Preferred (or willingness to obtain)

• Valid Driver's License — Required

• High School Diploma or GED — Required

• This is a fully on-site role based throughout New York City and surrounding areas. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, with overtime available based on project demands.
