Compensation Range: $75,000 - $85,000 yearly commensurate with experience.

Overview:

The Program Coordinator (PC) oversees all programmatic and clinical aspects of the SHIP Scatter Site Housing Program, which provides permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless singles and families. The PC ensures the program operates in compliance with HUD supportive housing standards and Housing Works' internal policies while maintaining high-quality, resident-centered services.

Job Requirements:
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
  • Clinical Judgment:

    Demonstrates strong ability to review and provide constructive feedback on case manager documentation and resident engagement, ensuring best practices are followed in home visits, assessments, service plans, progress notes, and case conferences.
  • Supervision & Staff Development:

    Provides supportive yet directive supervision, coaching staff in harm reduction, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, addressing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and crisis intervention.
  • Technology & Evaluation

    Skills:

    Proficient in Microsoft Office with demonstrated ability to write, assess, and evaluate program performance and staff effectiveness.
  • Mobility:

    Able to travel throughout New York City, including regular use of public transportation.
