UI/UX Developer (Java Full Stack / Angular)
Location: New York City, NY (Local Only - Hybrid: 4 Days Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Java Full Stack, heavy Angular, UI/UX design, JWT/SSO, Kafka streaming, AWS, Kubernetes, Mongo
DB/Redshift, enterprise security/entitlements, and financial domain experience.
We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Developer for a long-term consulting assignment in New York City. The ideal candidate will have strong UI/UX design expertise combined with Java Full Stack and Angular development experience and a solid background in the financial services domain. This role requires close collaboration with business users and IT teams in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive, user-friendly web applications using modern UI/UX principles
- Create reusable UI frameworks, components, and design patterns
- Develop mockups, wireframes, and prototypes and convert them into functional applications
- Conduct user research, analysis, and performance benchmark testing
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues efficiently
- Communicate design usability and user experience considerations clearly
- Collaborate with business users, product owners, and global development teams
- 10-15 years of proven software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java Full Stack development
- Heavy experience with Angular
- Experience with JWT / SSO authentication
- Hands-on experience with Kafka (streaming)
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Knowledge of Kubernetes / containerization
- Experience with Mongo
DB and/or Amazon Redshift - Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills
- Understanding of large enterprise application requirements, including security and entitlements
- Experience working with global/offshore teams
- Bachelor's degree from a US university (mandatory)
- Financial services domain experience (strongly preferred)
