Producer (F/M/D)
We're hiring! Join Swift Games as a Producer and help shape the future of our new title The Walking Dead:
Aftermath - a new game currently in soft launch.
We are a fast-growing mobile game studio behind Heroes vs. Hordes (HvH), a top-grossing survival action RPG. Our passionate team of 20+ professionals (design, art, development, marketing) creates visually striking, highly engaging free-to-play experiences. Swift Games, recently acquired by Ares Interactive, continues to operate as an integral development studio within the group.
Job OverviewYou will be a central part of production on The Walking Dead:
Aftermath, a licensed IP game in ongoing development. You'll join a collaborative, supportive team, and this role sits at the heart of how it operates: you'll keep development on track, connect the dots across disciplines, and make sure the right things get built at the right time. You'll work closely with the design, engineering, art, QA, and community teams, and have a genuine voice in shaping how the team works together.
Our day-to-day relies heavily on Jira, Google Suite, and AI-assisted workflows, so a hands-on, process-focused mindset is essential.
- Project & Milestone Management: Manage timelines, effort estimations, and milestone documentation in close collaboration with the contributors across engineering, art, design, and QA. Keep release tracking sheets, build logs, and sprint planning artifacts continuously up to date.
- Release & Hotfix Management: Coordinate the full release process end to end, including release readiness checklists, build coordination, and the hotfix lifecycle. This process is central to how the team ships.
- IP Holder Management (AMC): Serve as the primary point of contact for all AMC approval workflows. Manage submission schedules, track and follow up on feedback, coordinate responses across disciplines, and make sure nothing misses a submission window.
- Vendor Management: Manage day-to-day relationships with external vendors, including our art partner and localization agency. Source and onboard a sound vendor. Keep all partners aligned on quality, timelines, and communication standards.
- Localization: Oversee the full localization pipeline: manage the agency relationship, maintain English source term accuracy, and handle triage and resolution of localization bugs surfaced through QA or player reports.
- QA Interface & Bug Triage: Coordinate bug triage in partnership with QA, keeping prioritization clear and making sure issues are correctly classified and tracked. Monitor build stability and surface risks early.
- Backlog & Tooling: Manage backlog grooming and sprint planning. Keep tickets, descriptions, and statuses accurate, actionable, and complete. Evaluate PM tooling improvements, including a potential migration to Linear.
- Feature Backlog & Future Feature Management: Maintain a structured backlog of future features and improvements surfaced from internal channels. Run regular prioritization reviews (not the final calls themselves) and make sure approved items are translated into scoped tickets and integrated into the roadmap.
- Internal Communication: Make sure every team member has the context they need to execute without delays or gaps. Bridge communication across engineering, art, design, QA, and community management. Interface regularly with the Community Manager to bring player signals into production planning.
The only hard requirement is the experience line below. The rest are strengths we look for, not a checklist, so please apply if you cover most of them.
- Experience (required): 3+ years of professional experience in a production or project management role within game development, with at least one shipped title.
- Live Service Experience: You've worked on a game with ongoing operations, live updates, and an engaged player base.
- Process mindset: You enjoy building and improving the systems a team runs on, whether that's checklists, release cadences, sprint planning, or submission pipelines.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Experience managing external vendors or IP/licensor relationships, keeping partners aligned on standards while maintaining a strong working relationship.
- Tooling Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Jira or equivalent project management tooling. Comfortable in Google Suite, building tracking sheets, and milestone documentation.
- Communication: Clear, proactive communicator, especially around status, risks, and blockers. You raise issues early rather than letting them build up.
- AI Workflow Familiarity: Comfortable using AI-assisted tools to move faster and reduce manual overhead.
- Initiative: When something is blocking the team and isn't clearly anyone's job, you're willing to pick it up.
- IP & F2P at Scale: Experience working on a licensed IP title within a free-to-play game that has reached a meaningful player base. You've navigated IP holder relationships, approval cycles, and the specific constraints…
