Vice President, Software Engineering

Vice President, Software Engineering with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Develop, enhance, support, and maintain the Firm’s software solutions in support of its global businesses. Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and thoughtful technology solutions leveraging both internal and open-source services. Requires:
Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or a related software engineering role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or a related software engineering role.

Prior experience must include three (3) years with Master’s OR five (5) years with Bachelor’s with the following: full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; working with Java enterprise applications within Unix environment; programming knowledge with big data technology including Java, HDFS, Scala, Spark, or Map Reduce; relational database management system (RDBMS) such as Sybase or Oracle;

micro-services architecture design and development including REST, Java, Spring, or other back-end technologies; and database query languages, including SQL or No

Salary Range:
Annual base salary for New York, New York based position is $190,000 - $252,500.
