A well-funded, venture-backed healthcare technology company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build and scale a modern software platform used by employers, healthcare providers, and end users. This role combines hands-on product development with AI-driven innovation and close collaboration with business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate enjoys building across the full stack, partnering with cross-functional teams, and leveraging AI to improve both customer-facing products and internal operations.

This is a permanent direct hire opportunity. Hybrid schedule, in office 2 days a week in NYC

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React, Type Script, Node.js, and AWS.
• Build intuitive, accessible user interfaces for external customers and internal users.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs supporting core business workflows.
• Design and implement AI-powered product capabilities where they improve customer outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI tools that enhance internal business processes.
• Partner directly with operations, business, and domain experts to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Build integrations with third-party platforms and industry-specific systems.
• Implement secure software development practices with an emphasis on data privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in architecture discussions and help guide technology decisions as the platform scales.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and contribute thoughtful code reviews.
• Mentor other engineers and promote engineering best practices.

• 4+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience. Strong experience with:
• React
• Type Script / Java Script
• Node.js
• Python
• PostgreSQL
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Comfortable working across frontend and backend development.
• Experience collaborating directly with non-technical business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, testing, and code quality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup or small engineering team.
• Bachelor's Degree

• Experience building AI-enabled applications or integrating LLMs into products.
• Experience implementing workflow automation using AI tools.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs.
• Familiarity with healthcare, regulated industries, or privacy-sensitive environments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Knowledge of cloud security and data protection best practices.
