ECLARO is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Frontend Focused) for our client in New York, NY. ECLARO's client operates one of the world's largest energy delivery systems, constantly at the forefront of innovations in developing technology. Position Overview:

  • Experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on Frontend Architecture to design, build, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications.
  • This role will establish frontend standards, develop reusable UI frameworks, and ensure seamless integration with our enterprise backend services and identity systems.
  • Brings deep expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular), solid full-stack integration capabilities (C#.NET, Python APIs), and experience delivering responsive, secure, and highly accessible user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Frontend Architecture:
    Lead frontend technical design, establish development standards, build reusable component libraries, and promote UI/UX best practices.
  • Full Stack Development:
    Develop responsive single-page applications (SPAs) and integrate them seamlessly with backend microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Mobile Initiatives:
    Support cross-platform or native mobile application development to deliver a cohesive experience across web and mobile surfaces.
  • Performance & Accessibility:
    Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, cross-browser compatibility, and strict WCAG accessibility compliance.
  • Security & Auth Integration:
    Implement and maintain robust frontend security measures, including modern token-based authentication (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT) and secure session management.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship:
    Partner closely with UX/UI designers, product owners, and backend teams. Mentor junior and mid-level developers through constructive code reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    8+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of leading frontend architecture for enterprise web applications.
  • Frontend Mastery:
    Deep, advanced knowledge of Type Script, React, and/or Angular, alongside modern HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
  • Full Stack Integration:
    Strong experience consuming and integrating with backend APIs built on C#.NET (.NET Core/.NET 8+) or Python.
  • Modern Tooling:
    Experience with Git workflows, package managers (npm/yarn), and frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite).
  • Accessibility:
    Deep experience implementing and enforcing strict WCAG accessibility compliance in web applications.
  • Enterprise Security:
    Practical experience managing frontend session states, handling token life cycles (silent refresh, JWT management), and integrating with enterprise Identity Providers (Active Directory, Okta, etc.).
  • Methodology:
    Experience working within collaborative, Agile/Scrum environments.
  • A Highly skilled Full Stack Developer

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mobile Development:
    Experience with native mobile development (Swift for iOS / Kotlin for Android) OR cross-platform mobile frameworks (React Native, MAUI, Flutter).
  • Legacy Support:
    Familiarity supporting legacy web patterns (e.g.,.NET Framework 4.8.1 / MVC) during modernization phases.
  • Dev Ops:
    Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions) and container environments (Docker).
  • Industry: Prior experience in a utility, energy, or highly regulated corporate environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and guide development teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and within team settings
  • Experience with Progressive Web Applications (PWA)
  • Experience developing reusable design systems and component libraries
  • Utility, energy, or regulated industry experience

Pay Rate: $84.00-$98.00/Hour
