• Commercial experience of core Java programming with strong proficiency
• Experience of working with a functional programming language
• Fundamental knowledge of Microservices
• Understanding of distributed system design and infrastructure
• Strong experience with distributed caching (REDIS) and relational databases, preferably with MSSQL, Oracle, Sybase IQ
• Good Exposure to middleware
  - Kafka, MQ
• Experience of working in a Linux environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional approach
• Ability to work effectively in a global and dynamic team

• Experience in the full software development life cycle
• Experience working in an agile team using Agile and Dev Ops practices & tools
• Experience working with Continuous Integration systems
• Experience with scheduler like Cron, Autosys, Control-M
• Experience with cloud-ready development, Docker containers
• Good to Know Scala Functional Programming (Willingness to learn)
• Good to have knowledge of automation and scripting languages (Python preferred)
• Good to have knowledge of Big Data – Hadoop, Spark etc.
