Service Now Developer

We are seeking a skilled Service Now Developer to design, develop, configure, and maintain Service Now applications and workflows. The ideal candidate will have experience in Service Now platform development, scripting, integrations, and ITSM processes. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that align with business requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

Design, develop, and customize Service Now applications and modules.
Configure workflows, Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.
Develop and maintain Service Catalog items, Record Producers, and Knowledge Management solutions.
Implement and support ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB.
Develop integrations with third-party applications using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, and MID Server.
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics.
Perform platform upgrades, enhancements, and production support.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while optimizing system performance.
Prepare technical documentation, unit test cases, and deployment documentation.
Collaborate with functional teams, administrators, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required skills include:

Strong experience with Service Now platform development.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions, and UI Policies.
Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Workflow development.
Knowledge of Service Now ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB).
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and system integrations.
Understanding of ACLs, security, roles, and access control.
Experience with Service Catalog and Portal development.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred skills include:

Experience with one or more Service Now modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITBM/SPM, HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Customer Service Management (CSM), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Security Operations (Sec Ops).
Knowledge of Service Now App Engine.
Experience with Performance Analytics and Virtual Agent.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Understanding of Dev Ops and CI/CD practices for Service Now.

Qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3–7 years of Service Now development experience.
Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is preferred.
Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is highly preferred.
Experience in at least one end-to-end Service Now implementation project.

Nice to have:

Experience with Service Now upgrades and platform migrations.
Knowledge of MID Server configuration and Discovery.
Familiarity with CMDB and Asset Management.
Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.
