Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Consultant to lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of our test automation strategy. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical automation tools and technologies including Al-powered testing, codeless automation platforms, and self-healing frameworks. You will be responsible for defining the future of test automation in our organization and building scalable, maintainable solutions that accelerate delivery without compromising quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable automation frameworks across UI, API, mobile, and backend layers.
- Evaluate and adopt next-generation tools like Al-driven automation, codeless platforms, and low-code/no-code frameworks.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and champion shift-left testing practices.
- Mentor QE teams on best practices in automation design and implementation.
- Collaborate with Dev Ops, development, and product teams to align automation goals with business outcomes.
- Monitor test effectiveness, coverage, and ROl of automation efforts.
Required
Skills and Experience:
10+ years in software test automation with 3+ years in an architectural or strategic leadership role. Proven experience in implementing modern automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium) and Al/ML integration for testing (e.g., NLP, computer vision). Hands-on experience with Al-based testing solutions (e.g., Testim, mabl, Functionize, Test Sigma).
- Strong knowledge of codeless or low code automation tools.
- Programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar. Strong understanding of CI/CD and test integration in Dev Ops pipelines.
- Ability to evaluate and implement tools that support intelligent test orchestration and test data management.
