Senior Engineering Manager - Loyalty Product
Zeta Global is seeking a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Loyalty product that powers the Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP).
Reporting to Sr. Director, Engineering, this leader will own the technical execution, architecture, roadmap, and delivery for one or more core loyalty features. The role requires strong technical judgment, exceptional engineering leadership, and the ability to drive complex initiatives across multiple engineering teams.
Zeta Loyalty helps brands move beyond static loyalty programs with intelligent experiences designed to deepen engagement. The next gen Zeta Loyalty platform is envisioned to be AI-powered and agentic.
This is a technical leadership role. The Senior Engineering Manager is expected to remain actively involved in architecture, design reviews, technical decision-making, and production operations while developing engineers and technical leads and delivering reliable Loyalty product capabilities at scale.
Own the complete Loyalty product suite, which includes, but not limited to:
- Customizable loyalty programs
- Configurable reward rules
- Flexible tiering structure
- Reward points tracking
- Tight Integration with system notification & user messaging frameworks
- Omnichannel support
- Unified ZMP Identity
- Unified ZMP Analytics
The Senior Engineering Manager is accountable for the architecture, implementation, operational excellence, observability, monitoring & reliability of the owned products.
Success will be measured through:
- Delivery of Loyalty roadmap commitments
- Hire engineers, build and lead a team dedicated to development of the Loyalty product as per agreed plan
- Product availability, reliability, and operational health
- Improved developer productivity and satisfaction
- Successful migrations and retirement of legacy services
- Team engagement, growth, and engineering effectiveness
Significant experience building and operating large-scale distributed platforms or multi-tenant SaaS systems.
Experience leading engineering teams responsible for application full-stack development.
Strong technical expertise in distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and shared platform services.
Experience designing and operating highly available production services.
Experience partnering with multiple engineering teams to deliver shared capabilities.
Strong operational knowledge of observability, incident management, and production readiness.
Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and grow technical leaders.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
The salary range for this role is $225,000 - $240,000, depending on location and experience.
