- Expertise in modern architecture domains: cloud-native (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, APIs, event-driven designs, data platforms, security architecture, and reliability engineering (SRE)
- Proven experience making architecture executable:
IaC (e.g., Terraform), policy-as-code (e.g., OPA), CI/CD (e.g., Git Hub Actions/Jenkins/Azure Dev Ops), automated quality/security gates, and reference implementations - Strong fluency across SDLC and agile delivery: product thinking, backlog grooming, sprint ceremonies, and hands-on partnership with engineering to translate architecture into working code
- Practical governance experience: designing risk-aware, lightweight processes; implementing controls without impeding velocity; and fostering measurable compliance through automation
- Exposure to AI/ML in engineering workflows: understanding of GenAI-assisted design, coding assistants, architectural validation, and responsible AI considerations (model risk, data protection, auditability)
