Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium, Playwright, and Apache JMeter to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing, performance testing, API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies. This role involves designing robust automation frameworks, executing performance tests, identifying bottlenecks, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
Create and execute performance, load, stress, spike, and endurance tests using Apache JMeter.
Analyze performance metrics such as response time, throughput, latency, CPU, memory, and error rates.
Perform API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
Integrate automation and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Identify, log, track, and verify software defects.
Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and Dev Ops teams to resolve issues.
Review requirements and participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
Maintain test documentation, test plans, and automation reports.
Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Selenium Web Driver with Java or Python.
Hands-on experience with Playwright using JavaScript/Type Script, Java, or Python.
Experience with Apache JMeter for performance and load testing.
Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, or Py Test .
Experience with REST API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
Strong understanding of automation framework design (Page Object Model, Data-Driven, Hybrid, BDD).
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Familiarity with Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines.
Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Cucumber BDD and Gherkin.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or Dynatrace.
Knowledge of security testing concepts and OWASP guidelines.
Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools.

Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for event-driven applications.
Familiarity with accessibility testing (WCAG).
Exposure to Shift-Left Testing and Test Ops practices.
