Role

Purpose:

Lead backend development using Django and Databricks — designing scalable, secure APIs and microservices, integrating Azure Cloud services, and guiding a technical team through architecture decisions, code quality, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of backend systems using Django/Databricks.
• Design and implement scalable, secure APIs and microservices architecture.
• Integrate Azure Cloud services for application deployment and management.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
• Optimize database performance and manage data storage (SQL and No
  
  SQL).
• Ensure high performance and security standards; participate in architecture design and technical decision making.

• Python and Django (expert); RESTful APIs and web services

Must-have (per requisition):
Microservices, Python, Cloud Computing. Good to have:
Azure Databricks, Delta Lake and Delta tables, PySpark.

Experience & Expected Outcome: 10+ years in backend development, including 5+ years with Django;
Bachelor's in Computer Science/IT or related field.
