As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in developing backend services and core platform components that power an enterprise-scale data platform. Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Type Script.

Support the development of modular, service-oriented architecture for data ingestion, transformation, and access.

Integrate platform services with data contracts, schema validation, metadata, lineage, and governance systems.

Write clean, testable code with an emphasis on unit and integration testing.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

Participate in design and code reviews, learning and applying engineering best practices.

Debug and troubleshoot issues in development and production environments.

Collaborate with engineers across platform, data, and governance teams.

5+ years of software engineering experience.

Proficiency in Node.js and Type Script (or similar backend technologies).

Understanding of object-oriented design, basic design patterns, and API/service development.

Experience building or contributing to backend services or distributed systems.

Familiarity with testing practices, including unit and integration testing.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.

Strong willingness to learn, ask questions, and take ownership of work.

Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
