Software Developer - Testing Tools/Automation/Performance
We are looking for a proactive Software Developer specializing in Testing Tools, Automation, and Performance. This role is based in the New York area, with a hybrid work setup. The position is a contract opportunity focusing on developing and executing automation solutions for web, mobile, API, and backend systems, ensuring high-quality releases in an Agile environment. The role requires strong technical expertise, ownership, and collaboration with client and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and execute API test cases using relevant tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality.
- 8 years of experience in Quality Engineering and Automation Testing.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with web automation tools.
- Minimum 2 years of mobile automation experience.
- Strong skills in API and SQL testing.
- Experience in building or enhancing automation frameworks.
