People Soft Developer Contractor
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented People Soft Developer Contractor to join our client's team in the tech industry sector. In this role, you will contribute to developing and maintaining People Soft applications, performing system analysis, and providing technical support and troubleshooting for People Soft applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize People Soft applications based on project requirements.
- Perform system analysis, design, coding, testing, and debugging of People Soft applications.
- Collaborate with functional analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with established development and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Information Systems is preferred.
- 7 years of experience with software or application development specifically with People Soft.
- 7 years of experience with SQL or other database querying languages on large, multi-table data sets.
- Experience with integrations between SaaS and on-premises COTS applications.
Preferred Qualifications (if any):
- Experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot (Microservices), Rest Services, Spring JPA, REST, JSON, Junit, Java script, and XML.
- Experience and familiarity with Docker, containers, Kubernetes, Microservices, Git Hub.
- Experience in People Soft development - specifically with People Code, Application Engine, Integration Broker, BI Publisher, Component Interfaces, People Soft Queries, Trees, and Fluid interface, SQR.
- Experience with job scheduling tools (preferred: Autosys).
