The U.S. Consumer Services and Membership Digital Experiences Technology team (USCDT) brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web), marketing and advertising technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and dining technology. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Web Full Stack with strong expertise in JavaScript, Type Script, Node.js, React, and modern web technologies to join an agile, cross-functional engineering team that values collaboration, automation, technical excellence, and innovation.

In this role, you will design and build highly scalable, performant, resilient, and accessible web applications while helping shape technical direction and engineering best practices. As a senior engineer, you will be expected to take ownership of complex technical initiatives, influence architecture and design decisions, and mentor engineers across the team.

You will be part of the Card Shop group, focused on delivering best-in-class digital experiences for customers shopping for American Express products. Your work will directly contribute to critical customer journeys and will be highly visible and impactful.
