Role & Responsibilities:

As a Rockwall Instructor, you will have the responsibility of delivering customer service in line with our Chelsea Piers Standards of Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Work desk shifts at the Rockwall
• Delivers customer service in line with our Chelsea Piers Standards of Excellence
• Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
• Greet, assist, and accommodate guests
• Coach Rockwall private lessons as needed
• Participate in special and member events as scheduled

Qualifications

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of rock climbing and teaching experience
• High-energy, personable and passion for fitness with a team-first mentality
• Analysis and understanding of key business metrics that directly impact membership growth
• Self-motivated/entrepreneurial spirit with an outgoing, diligent and affable disposition
• Superior customer service skills; excellent and clear communication skills, both verbal and written; strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to lift 30 to 45 pounds or appropriate weight to lead session
