Aqua Fitness & Swim Instructor

LIVunLtd is currently seeking experienced, energetic and exceptional Aqua Fitness & Swim Instructors to join our growing team! As an Aqua Fitness & Swim Instructor you are experienced, positive, and patient. LIVunLtd Aqua Fitness & Swim Instructors are expected to educate, motivate, and make swimming a fun experience while they teach. Whether it be on a weekly or daily basis, Instructors are expected to provide an encouraging voice and energetic personality when leading exercise activities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

* Create an educational, safe, and inviting experience for all participants.

* Possess a strong set of customer service skills and the passion to work with children, adults, and families.

* Ensure instructional equipment remains in good condition; have all equipment ready prior to classes and put away after.

* Guarantee safety at all times and provide first aid when necessary.

* Perform any and all cleaning duties as assigned to help establish and maintain showroom quality at all times.

* Enforce all company policies procedures in efforts to maintain a quiet, safe and secure environment for members.

* Adhere and adapt to all current and new LIVunLtd policies, procedures and initiatives.

* Report any unsafe conditions or situations that require attention to the Fitness + Wellness Director.

* Wear building-approved uniform for each specific location where you are working.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum one year experience as a swim instructor required.

* Experience teaching Aqua Fitness.

* Current CPR / AED and Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certifications.

* Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Must be an organized and customer service oriented.

* Must be willing to travel throughout the NY Metro Area to provide swim lessons.

COMPENSATION

The Aqua Fitness & Swim Instructor position with LIVunLtd pays minimum wage aligned with state regulations for corporate education and development initiatives. This position pays a minimum of $70.00 per fitness group fitness class. Rates are subject to change based upon work location.
