Senior Tax Accountant

, a unique Long Island-based CPA firm that prides itself on high quality work along with a focus on the well-being and work life balance of its people, is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant who will be responsible for reviewing and preparing federal, state and local income tax returns for businesses and individuals.

Summary:

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will develop and maintain solid client relationships while working on challenging assignments. The firm offers competitive salary based on experience, generous PTO, flexible schedules, comprehensive health insurance, bonuses and 401(k)/Profit sharing plan.

• Degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of recent public accounting experience; CPA or EA preferred
• Able to utilize and develop an advanced understanding of various tax programs and software
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, and as part of a team

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
