Audit Senior

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our mid-size CPA firm in New York. The ideal candidate will lead audit engagements, supervise junior staff, and ensure high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute audit engagements
• Supervise and mentor junior audit staff
• Prepare and review financial statements and audit reports
• Communicate with clients and address their concerns
• Identify and resolve complex accounting issues
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and firm policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA license (or actively pursuing)
• 3-5 years of public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office suite

Preferred:

• Experience with a range of industries
• Advanced degree (e.g., Master's in Accounting)
