M & R CPAs, LLP is a small-sized CPA firm. We are seeking an Accountant to add to our team.
Responsibilities
- Organize and enter client data into tax prep software
- Ensure client confidentiality by following all company procedures regarding information handling
- Meet client service expectations through the efficient, timely and accurate completion of the assigned tasks
- Communicate interactively with engagement team members
- Provide backup to support the team, when necessary
- Maintain and expand knowledge base in area of expertise
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of basic financial and accounting concepts involved in tax return preparation and financial statements, preferred
- Proficiency using Quick Books and performing client closings with associated tax returns.
