Overview
A midsize CPA firm located in Brooklyn is growing and seeking to hire a full-time tax accountant with at least 4 years of experience.
Responsibilities- Prepare income tax returns including 1040, 1120S, 1120, and 1065.
- Review and prepare financial statements and write-up work.
- Handle tax notices, consulting and tax planning with clients.
- Assist in the development and training of staff.
- Understand payroll taxes, sales taxes, bookkeeping, and accounting.
- At least 4 years of experience in tax accounting.
- Knowledge of Quick Books Desktop, Quick Books Online, and Lacerte.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
Full-time position. Compensation includes salary plus employee benefits such as health insurance and a 401(k) plan. Employer profit sharing plan or per diem. Great opportunity for growth.
