We are seeking an Accounts Payable Associate for our clients New York City office to support the Development team by ensuring accurate and timely processing of project-related invoices and payments.
Responsibilities- Process project, construction, consultant, and overhead invoices, including AIA G702/703 applications
- Review invoices for accuracy, proper approvals, supporting documentation, and budget availability
- Process invoices through eBuilder, Timber scan, Sage, and related systems
- Maintain monthly close timelines and complete project accruals
- Verify execution of contracts, commitments, and change orders
- Track and follow up on unprocessed invoices
- Coordinate closely with Project Management teams
- Respond to vendor and internal payment inquiries
- Prepare weekly invoice status updates
- Process payments, review payable aging, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in real estate development
- Strong understanding of AIA applications and construction invoicing
- Experience with eBuilder, Timber scan, Sage 300, and Timberline preferred
