We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tax Manager with over 5 years of public accounting expertise, specifically servicing high net worth individual clients. Join a growing boutique accounting firm on Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan as a Tax Manager servicing high net worth individuals and families. This role emphasizes leadership, client service, and a broad exposure to diverse tax matters.

• Review complex tax returns for high net worth individuals, trusts, and estates.
• Lead project and engagement management.
• Train and mentor tax associates; maintain primary client contact throughout the year.
• Engage in diverse tax matters and collaborate with partners using strong research tools.

• Education:
  
  Bachelors degree in accounting from a reputable program (masters in taxation is a plus).
• Experience:
  
  5+ years in a CPA firm.
• Leadership:
  Experience supervising, training, mentoring staff, and participating in performance reviews.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Excellent technical and research abilities.
• Communication:
  Strong interpersonal and written communication skills for addressing tax notices.
• Time Management:
  Strong prioritization and time management capabilities.
• Independence:
  Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
