Accountant, Accounting Manager, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

SBG is growing and looking for a new member of the accounting team! In this role, you will support the Accounting team with tasks relating to maintaining and reconciling financials as well as working with various departments to ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to details, experience in lending and general accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Work with Sales team to ensure fast and accurate fee processing
• Work with operations team to ensure all LOC draws have been entered
• Maintain documentation and assist with ad-hoc
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed
• Help develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls as the company scales

Qualifications:

• BA in Accounting, Finance or related field or similar experience.
• 1-2 years of Accounting experience, lending experience a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with Salesforce, QBO.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
