Senior Accountant

Overview

Privately held global real estate firm seeks a Senior Accountant to support its Commercial Accounting function. This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting across a diversified commercial portfolio. The Senior Accountant will collaborate closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely financial statements, audit support, and forecasting packages, while contributing to process improvements, system enhancements, and special projects as needed.

• Oversee general ledger activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage month-end and period-end close processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support cash management and cash flow forecasting.
• Conduct budget-to-actual variance analysis and provide insights.
• Prepare internal management reports and external partner/investor reporting.

• 2-4 years of public/private accounting experience.
• Bachelors in Accounting.
• CPA a big plus.
