Senior Property Accountant

Beacon Hill Financial is partnering with a growing organization in New York City to bring on an experienced Senior Property Accountant. This role supports the day‑to‑day accounting for a portfolio of properties and requires strong attention to detail, solid understanding of accounting principles, and hands‑on experience within a property accounting environment. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities within a fast‑paced setting.

• Support full‑cycle accounting activities for an assigned group of properties
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with period‑end close
• Reconcile accounts, review general ledger activity, and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tenant billing processes
• Maintain property‑level financial records and address routine accounting questions
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, audits, and general reporting needs

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with any property management or accounting software
• Prior property accounting or real estate accounting experience
